A day in the life of a Business Support Administrator, by Gina Bonaccorsi

Gina Bonaccorsi talks about everything from the conundrum of naming a superpower to what she thinks makes Triad different from other IT consultancies.

How would you describe your role?

I am Triad’s Business Support Administrator. Ultimately, I’m here to help and provide support to Executive Directors, Senior Management, and my colleagues.

I have a wide range of responsibilities. I am often updating reports and spreadsheets with accurate data for the Company.  I plan and co-ordinate company events such as meetings and conferences. I offer personnel support such as onboarding new employees, maintaining records and processing employee documentation. I oversee administrative support for legal documents and ensure that we maintain good record management. I also serve as the primary point of contact for facilities-related matters, including maintenance requests and workspace arrangements. It’s a wide-ranging role. I need to be ready for any additional tasks or projects assigned and be flexible to help and support various departments as required.

What do you most enjoy about your role?

I love that my role is so varied – no two days are the same!  I also like working with such fantastic colleagues.  I have worked for Triad for over half of my life, and I feel a very strong connection to the company. I care what happens to us, so this makes me strive to work harder.

What’s your superpower?

I don’t have a superpower that I know of; I wish I did; that might be quite nice!  If I had to choose, I would say, that I am versatile, methodical, and well-organised.

Marketing spin aside, what do you think makes Triad different from other IT consultancies?

Triad has a genuine interest in all their employees and if they can help, they will!  It sounds a bit of a cliché, but we are a family with the same vision and aims.
