A day in my life, by Lauren Collier

How would you describe your role?

I contribute to Triad’s business development efforts throughout the bid process’s lifecycle, including writing and submitting bids.

The end-to-end bid process incorporates many stages. It starts with identifying and qualifying new opportunities and ends once we have assessed the feedback on our submission. In between all of this is lots of collaboration across the business to produce a compelling story explaining how Triad can help transform organisations through technology.

What do you most enjoy about your role?

It’s a fast-paced job that keeps you on the edge of innovation. Working with different individuals and teams means that I am always learning and evolving. I can be strategic and creative when drafting proposals, being the voice that brings to life the vision of so many.

Importantly, I am contributing to the growth and success of Triad. Every bid has the potential for triumph.

What are the three non-negotiable behaviours that you ask for from your colleagues?

Honesty, enthusiasm, and solid communication.

What’s your superpower?

Multi-tasking. I can juggle lots of things at one time, mentally, not physically!

Marketing spin aside, what do you think makes Triad different from other IT consultancies?

The sense of teamwork at Triad was apparent from my first day. Our colleagues are willing and eager to get involved to make the bids we produce the best they can be and demonstrate how Triad will deliver an A+ service to our customers.
