ICT Database Administrator
Exciting role within the Criminal Justice service! The successful applicant will have the opportunity to undergo security clearance and be building towards a long and established career.
Our client, based in Gloucestershire, are recruiting for an ICT Database Administrator who has a good understanding and hands-on experience of RDBMS architecture, software and database management tools.
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the administration of either Oracle or SQL Server databases in medium to large enterprises on different platforms; both would be very advantageous.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced technical team, installing and maintaining database services in line with defined practises and standards, ensuring acceptable levels of performance are maintained. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Database Administrator and will work closely with the Infrastructure, Networking, Security and Application Support teams to provide services to 2000 users.
