Triad is recruiting 3 GIS Technicians for our client in Somerset. The role is working on a GIS Data Capture project and would be looking to start in July. The contract is for 12 months and is a great opportunity for the right people to gain some experience in a commercial map production environment.
For this role, we will need you to undergo security clearance. So you must be a UK national if you wish to apply. The role is open to graduates if you can demonstrate a solid understanding of the use of geospatial software. But some commercial experience would be advantageous.
It’s a 40 hour week, but with the chance to work additional hours also.
Creation and update of digital map databases using ArcGIS software and using a variety of source materials including satellite imagery and Remote Sensing data.
The role would be ideally suited to graduate who have experience in GIS and using GIS software. So you could have studied GIS, Geography or something similar that would have given you exposure to working with GIS software.
An interview date is planned for w/c 13th May. You would then undergo training and an induction whilst your security clearance is being processed. There may be a small amount of waiting time until you have the security clearance in place to go onsite.
