Geo Solutions Analyst
Our client helps businesses better manage their land-based assets by making use of the increasingly sophisticated but complex array of Earth Observation (EO) imagery and data available. They do this through their unique landscape intelligence platform aggregating large amounts of diverse data from satellites, airborne and ground instruments. Applying relevant modelling and using mapping, measuring, and monitoring techniques with best-in-class technology to provide critical decision support for customers.
Reporting to the Head of Geospatial Solutions the Geospatial Solutions Analyst will provide geospatial data analysis to support marketing, sales, and project delivery activities. The Solutions Analyst will build data products and undertake supplementary analysis, ensuring that product specifications are met accurately with a high degree of quality.
The Solutions Analyst will acquire and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the company’s capabilities across all service areas (Water, Energy, Agriculture, Forestry, Infrastructure). You will be expected to use their existing competency in geospatial delivery to work autonomously on tasks following development and agreement of technical scopes of work. This will include the technical evaluation of customer data, preparation of written technical materials and initial quality assurance of outputs produced by other technical analysts.
The position requires a good understanding of GIS and Remote Sensing technology, including current practical experience of GIS data management and analysis. Prior experience of customer engagement would be an advantage. The role will suit a confident, outgoing individual with proven ability to meet challenging deadlines.
Under current Government guidelines and restrictions, the role is expected to start as remote working with the option to work in the office on a rota basis.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to commute to the Oxfordshire office. Occasional travel is expected.
