March 2010 – Triad has recently implemented a new Intranet for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award based on Microsoft’s SharePoint platform. The new Intranet has enabled the organisation to cost effectively link together their regional offices and has greatly improved communication and the sharing of news, ideas and a variety of digital content. It has also enabled the efficient delivery of internal communications and easy access to internet coverage of the DoE Award organisation.

December 2009 - Triad Consultant Andy Gannaway was a speaker at a recent seminar at the Institute of Directors highlighting the challenges currently facing charities and not for profit organisations. The seminar, hosted by ERP system vendor Agresso, focused on the specific challenges faced by the third sector in improving their business performance and delivering greater value to beneficiaries.

Andy specifically talked about a project being undertaken by Triad for the Wellcome Trust to implement an IT solution that is significantly improving their efficiency and ability to service their beneficiaries.

August 2009 - Following a rigorous selection process, Triad is pleased to announce that it has won the right to provide consultancy services to the public sector through the ICT Consultancy and Delivery Framework managed by Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for the UK public services. The framework agreement is for the next three years. It provides an EU-compliant procurement route that any public sector client can use to contract for ICT Consultancy Services. Triad's access to the framework is as part of a consortium led by Actica Consulting.

The consortium is one of only a small number of organisations that have been appointed to work under all seven 'lots' within the framework. It will enable us to provide consultancy and delivery services to the public sector in the following areas: strategy, application, architecture, infrastructure and security.

July 2009 - K2 (www.k2.com), the leading supplier of workflow and BPM software has appointed Triad as a K2 Service Partner. May 2009 - Dolphin Software (www.dolphin-software.com) works with Triad as a preferred partner in the United Kingdom to provide implementation services to Dolphin Software customers. Dolphin Software has recently launched Dolphin Contract Manager 2009, a best-of-breed Contract Lifecycle Management solution, based on the Microsoft SharePoint technology (MOSS 2007) platform. Dolphin Contract Manager is a highly flexible solution designed to manage and automate each stage of the contract lifecycle.

September 2008 - Triad is pleased to announce it has been awarded the contract to develop the Party and Election Finance Database for the Electoral Commission.

The new database system will provide political parties and other regulated entities with an effective, e-enabled solution for the submission and management of party and election finance data. The system will automate a number of processes, reducing the time between submission of statutory returns and publication of data. It will also provide improved searching and reporting to deliver greater transparency of data.

The system will comprise a secure web-site for parties and other regulated entities to prepare and submit their returns online and a separate publicly accessible web-site for interested parties to access published returns information. These returns include details of donations and loans, campaign expenditure and statements of accounts. In addition, the secure web-site will allow Commission users to administer the system.

A Triad team will design and develop the system using Microsoft’s .NET framework and SQL Server database. Triad won the contract following competitive tender and will deliver the system in two phases. The first phase will go live in April 2009, providing support for party registration and donation and loan returns. The second phase will go live in June 2009 and will support expenditure returns and submission of accounts.

June 2008 - Microsoft and Triad jointly held a briefing session for alternative asset managers which was held at Microsoft’s offices in London.

Microsoft’s technical specialists gave presentations on three key technologies which are being rapidly adopted by the hedge fund community.

February 2008 - Triad Group Plc has become a partner in the Cabinet Office’s Government Gateway Alliance Programme (GGAP). The Government Gateway provides infrastructure through which information is securely exchanged between government departments and is part of the Critical National Infrastructure. It is increasingly being used and developed across central and local government, other public sector organisations and business.

The GGAP is part of the Cabinet Office’s e-Delivery Team’s (EDT) ongoing commitment to work in partnership with key IT suppliers in delivering the Government Gateway and related services across the Public Sector. The goal of the GGAP is to deliver the technology to transform Government and enable a joined up approach across Government organisations through the use of a common IT infrastructure and innovative solutions.

November 2007 – Triad is pleased to announce that it is to develop a Transaction Processing System for the National Fallen Stock Company (NFSCo) to support the administration of the National Fallen Stock Scheme (NFSS).

The NFSCo was established in 2004 to assist the livestock industry with compliance with the European Union’s Animal-By-Products Regulations. The company was set up by the Government as a not-for-profit organisation and is run by a board consisting largely of appointees from the farming community. The company is responsible for running the NFSS to provide its members with a reliable, low-cost means of disposing of fallen stock using approved collectors. From April 2008 the company will transfer all of its IT and administration services to the private sector and, as part f this transfer, the systems that currently support the scheme will be replaced by a new Transaction Processing System.

A Triad team will develop the new system and provide support once live under a 2 year support arrangement. The system includes a secure web-site for members and collectors and an internal administration site for NFSCo and call centre staff. The system will be developed using Microsoft’s .NET framework and SQL Server database.

The NFSCo contract was awarded through the OGCbuying.solutions Catalist procurement framework, working in partnership with Catalist accredited supplier, PDMS Ltd.

July 2007 - Triad is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a contract to develop an information management system for the
Department for Transport to support the administration of the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO).

The RTFO is a key part of the government’s programme of measures to address climatechange. The main objective of the RTFO is to reduce the amount of carbon released into the atmosphere through the use of transport fuels. The Department for Transport is responsible for the delivery of the RTFO and has designed a scheme that will ensure a certain percentage of the UK’s total road transport fuel sales will be derived from renewable sources. The scheme will be introduced from April 2008 with an RTFO obligation of 2.5% rising to 5% by 2010–11.

A Triad team will design and develop the system which will support the full administration of the RTFO scheme. The system will make use of Microsoft's .NET Framework and SQL Server database.

The contract was awarded following competitive tender and is split into two phases. The first phase will run through to October 2007 and will involve design and preparatory work in consultation with fuel suppliers and other possible users, leading to the development of a working demonstration. The second phase is dependent on parliamentary approval of the RTFO regulations and is anticipated to commence around November 2007. The second phase will involve pilot running with selected fuel suppliers followed by operational rollout and support.

August 2006 - Triad Group Plc is delighted to announce it has been awarded a contract to design and develop a system to allow the transfer of electronic public records from government departments to The National Archives. The National Archives of England, Wales and the United Kingdom leads on records management policy with government and sets standards for archive management across the UK.

The system is required to enable The National Archives to handle an expected dramatic increase in the amount of electronic records being received over the next few years within existing staff numbers. This project forms part of a programme of work set up to enable a seamless flow of digital records from creation in government departments, to preservation in the archives, through to delivery to the public on the Web. The programme involves linking together existing components of records preparation, transfer and automating manual processes. The design stage of the contract has been completed, with the development and implementation due for completion by April 2007. Up to 10 Triad staff will be involved in the project which will be delivered using Microsoft's .NET framework and SQLServer database and the AgilePoint Business Process Management System.

April 2007 - Triad has been awarded a contract to provide system development and support services to a fast growing telecommunications company which offers a range of communications services to the business community using conventional circuit-switched telephony and newer Internet Protocol (IP) telephony.

Triad will be managing the on-going development and support of the client’s core business system which provides customer management, sales support, network monitoring and asset management capabilities. It is a web based application, built on open source technologies.

February 2007 - The recent Agresso User Conference, which was held in Dublin, featured a contribution from Triad consultant Andy Gannaway. Agresso provides integrated business information management delivered through role-based Finance, Procurement, Human Resource, Project and Payroll management functions. Andy is responsible for project managing implementation roll-outs of a client's Agresso Finance System, including product upgrades and integration with the client's other business critical systems.

Andy spoke to the conference delegates about the approach that he and the team followed when completing a recent major upgrade to the latest product version. The presentation covered the business drivers and justification behind the upgrade, the planning and implementation, adoption of new business processes, and how they tackled the issues that arose. The project was highlighted by Agresso because it was one of the first customer-driven system upgrades to this new version to be undertaken, and was completed successfully, on time and within budget.

January 2007 - Triad is delighted to announce that it has become a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. In order to attain Gold Partner status Triad has had to meet a number of rigorous requirements. These include proving our capability to deliver solutions using Microsoft technologies through references from satisfied clients and demonstrating our staffs’ technical expertise through the achievement of Microsoft professional certifications.
